I was always going to be a cricketer.
That was my plan. But God had other plans, as you can see! After matriculating in 2008, I began studying theology but ended up focusing on my music instead, completing a national diploma in music technology at EMENDY Multimedia Technology Institute, and lecturing at the college for two years.
But all the while God was nudging me. I had always wanted to go into pastoral ministry, but kept bailing out, focusing on music ministry through my band CrossRoad instead. Finally in 2018 I said "yes!" and joined the staff at eMseni Methodist as a lay pastor. And so the long road to ordination has begun.
In the meantime I am still running a music studio and writing and recording.
I am married to Shereen, who truly lights up my life! And we are owned by 2 cats, Charlie and Lizzy.
